AWTools AW23039 Wooden Stepladder 2x8 Steps 150kg

The AWTools AW23039 wooden stepladder is a professional-grade tool designed for stability and durability in various working environments. Constructed from high-quality impregnated pine wood, this 2x8 step ladder offers a robust solution for reaching elevated areas safely. The structure is reinforced with galvanized steel fittings, ensuring long-lasting performance even under demanding conditions. With a maximum load capacity of 150 kg, it provides a secure platform for both professional tradespeople and home users.

Advantages

The primary benefit of this stepladder lies in its sturdy wooden construction, which provides a natural grip and excellent structural integrity. The rungs are both glued and stapled to the side rails, significantly increasing the overall safety and longevity of the unit. Integrated rigid rods and safety chains effectively prevent the ladder from sliding or spreading during use. Additionally, the inclusion of a top hook allows users to conveniently hang tools, paint buckets, or other accessories, keeping the workspace organized and efficient.

Suitable for

• General construction and renovation projects
• Professional painting and decorating tasks
• Electrical maintenance and installation work
• Household repairs and high-reach cleaning

When it may not be suitable

This ladder may not be suitable for environments with extreme moisture or high humidity, as wood can be susceptible to warping or rot if not properly maintained over long periods. It is also not recommended for use near high-voltage electrical lines where conductive materials might pose a safety risk.

How to use

Before use, ensure the ladder is placed on a flat, stable, and dry surface. When working, maintain three points of contact and avoid overreaching. Utilize the top hook to secure your tools, ensuring they do not obstruct your movement or balance while on the steps.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the required height for your specific tasks
• Ensure you have adequate storage space for a wooden ladder
• Check the weight capacity against your body weight plus the weight of your tools

Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the wooden rails and steel fittings for signs of wear or damage. Keep the ladder in a dry, ventilated area when not in use to preserve the integrity of the impregnated pine wood.
