Utility knife AWTools AW29015 — compact hand cutter, weight 176 g
AWTools AW29015 — compact hand cutter is a lightweight utility knife with an aluminum body and TPR coating, weighing 176 g. Designed for cutting cardboard, plastic and common packaging materials, this foldable cutter combines portability with a quick-change blade mechanism and a fitted belt clip for easy access in workshops, warehouses and at home. Five replacement SK5 blades are included to extend usage right from purchase.
The aluminum construction with TPR coating ensures a corrosion-resistant, comfortable grip and reduced weight for prolonged handling. The compact foldable design keeps the blade protected when not in use and reduces storage space. A quick change blade mechanism simplifies blade replacement without extra tools, while the included set of five SK5 replacement blades provides immediate spare cutting edges. The integrated belt clip offers convenient carrying and fast access during tasks.
Fold open the cutter until it locks in the open position, position the blade against the material and make steady, controlled cuts using moderate pressure. When the blade becomes dull, open the quick-change mechanism according to the tool’s design, remove the spent blade and insert a fresh SK5 blade from the included spares. After use fold the cutter closed and secure it on the belt clip or store in a safe place to protect the blade and prevent accidental cuts.
For safest operation, always cut away from your body, use protective gloves when handling sharp blades, and replace blades as soon as cutting performance declines. Avoid using the cutter on hardened metals or tasks beyond light- to medium-duty cutting to preserve blade life and tool integrity.
