How to use

Place the spirit level on the surface to be checked, ensuring the flat side of the aluminium profile makes full contact with the measured plane. For horizontal checks, set the level on top of the object or fixture; for vertical checks, hold the level against the upright surface or post. Observe the position of the bubble in the corresponding 20 mm vial; the magnifying effect of the vial improves visibility and helps centre the bubble precisely. If the bubble is centred between the vial marks, the surface is level or plumb within the stated accuracy. Where required, adjust the fixture, surface or mounting until the bubble is centred.
