Hammer AWTools AW31752 — claw hammer, steel head, wood handle
AWTools AW31752 — claw hammer with a steel head and wooden handle designed for general carpentry, light demolition and a range of household repair tasks. The tool combines a striking face for driving nails and a claw for extraction with a wooden handle that provides traditional grip and some vibration damping. The hammer is suitable when a compact, manual striking tool is required for woodworking, assembly or light renovation work.
The hammer features a steel head for reliable striking performance and a claw for efficient nail removal. The wooden handle offers a comfortable grip and helps absorb some impact shock during use. A hard white rubber double-faced head is permanently bonded to the shaft with epoxy, reducing the risk of detachment and preventing marks on bright surfaces. An ergonomic plastic handle section with a non-slip coating in the grip area improves handling and control.
Hold the hammer by the handle near the end for maximum leverage and control when driving nails; move closer to the head for tapping or more delicate strikes. Use the flat steel face or rubber face as appropriate: the rubber face is suitable when a non-marking impact is required. To remove nails, position the claw under the nail head and apply controlled leverage to extract the nail. Inspect the bonding and handle before use and replace the tool if any damage or loosening is detected.
Wear appropriate eye protection and gloves when using the hammer. Use the rubber-faced side for surfaces sensitive to marking and the steel face for standard striking. Store the hammer in a dry place to protect the wooden handle and check the epoxy bond and grip coating periodically for signs of wear.
