Hand Tool AWTools AW39811 — lightweight 550 g hand tool, model AW39811
AWTools AW39811 is a lightweight, dual-head hand tool designed for general manual tasks in workshops, homes and professional settings. The tool combines an open-ended spanner on one end with a ring spanner on the other, and weighs approximately 550 g, making it easy to handle for extended tasks while maintaining the strength required for standard fastening and loosening operations.
Manufactured from chrome-vanadium (CrV) tool steel and produced by drop forging, the tool is hardened and tempered to provide enhanced durability and resistance to wear. A satin finish helps reduce slippage during use, while clear size markings on the tool allow quick identification of the correct dimension. The ring end is angled at 15° to improve access on flat surfaces and in confined spaces. The tool meets DIN 3113 standard and is supplied in a roll-up case with holes for hanging, which supports storage and transport.
Select the appropriate size by checking the clear size markings and align the open or ring end with the fastener. Use the open-ended side for quick engagement on nuts and bolts where the ring cannot be applied, and use the ring side for a fuller tooth engagement and reduced rounding risk. The 15° offset of the ring end allows incremental repositioning on flat surfaces; flip the tool to change access angle when necessary. Apply steady, controlled force and avoid applying impact loads not intended for hand tools.
For safe and lasting performance, keep the satin finish clean and free of oil or grit, store the tool in its roll-up case when not in use, and inspect for wear or deformation before applying torque. Use the correct size to minimize fastener damage and follow standard safety practices when working in confined spaces or on automotive components.
