Hole saw AWTools AW43307 — 800 g weight
AWTools AW43307 — 800 g weight is a carbide-tipped hole saw designed to cut precise circular openings in masonry materials. Made for use with compatible drill/drivers and core drill adapters, this hole saw features a spiral core body and discharge holes to reduce friction, improve dust and chip evacuation, and maintain cutting performance during impact or rotary drilling.
The hole saw is manufactured from high-quality alloy steel with tungsten carbide teeth for improved wear resistance on abrasive masonry. The spiral core body design reduces binding and promotes faster removal of debris, while built-in discharge holes facilitate chip extraction and cooler cutting. Its compatibility with TCT hex or SDS core drill adapters allows the tool to be used in both impact and rotary drilling modes for flexible on-site application.
Fit the hole saw to a compatible arbor or adapter (TCT hex or SDS) and secure it to the drill/driver according to the adapter instructions. Mark the centre point of the desired opening, position the pilot or guide if available, and start drilling at low speed to establish the cut. Increase speed and apply steady pressure while allowing the tool to evacuate dust and chips through the discharge holes. For deeper or harder materials, use intermittent drilling to avoid overheating and check alignment periodically. Wear appropriate eye, hand and respiratory protection when cutting masonry.
The tool delivers optimal performance when used with suitably powered drills and correct adapters; avoid excessive side loads and maintain moderate drilling speeds. Clean the teeth and discharge holes after use to prolong tool life and inspect carbide tips before each job to ensure safe operation.
