Drill Bit AWTools SDS Plus 8 x 110 mm, QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE
Drill Bit AWTools SDS Plus 8 x 110 mm, QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE
AWTools SDS Plus 8 x 110 mm, QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE is a masonry drill bit designed for use with SDS Plus rotary drills. With an 8 mm diameter and 110 mm overall length, this bit is intended for drilling holes in concrete, brick and natural stone. The QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE finishing and tip geometry provide reliable chip removal and improved centring in impact drilling tasks common to construction, renovation and installation works.
The AWTools SDS Plus drill bit combines SDS Plus shank compatibility with a precisely ground head geometry to deliver consistent drilling performance in masonry materials. Its length and diameter balance depth capability and stability during rotary-percussion operation, while the surface treatment reduces friction and helps resist wear. The bit is compatible with standard SDS Plus chucks and offers predictable hole size for anchors and fixtures.
Secure the bit in an SDS Plus rotary-percussion drill according to the drill manufacturer's instructions. Mark the drilling point and start at low speed to position the tip, then increase to the recommended speed for the drill and material. Apply steady forward pressure without forcing the bit; allow the impact action to do the work. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and chips from the hole and to prevent overheating. For through drilling, monitor depth and check hole straightness regularly.
Use personal protective equipment including safety glasses and hearing protection when drilling. Select an appropriate drill with SDS Plus chuck and a power rating suitable for masonry. For larger or deeper holes, progress in stages and consider using a lubricated or cooled technique only when recommended for the specific material. Replace the bit when wear noticeably reduces cutting efficiency or when hole accuracy is compromised.
