Drill Bit AWTools SDS Plus 10 x 210 mm QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE
Drill Bit AWTools SDS Plus 10 x 210 mm QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE
AWTools SDS Plus drill bit QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE, 10 x 210 mm, is a rotary hammer accessory engineered for drilling precise 10 mm holes in masonry and concrete. The bit features an SDS Plus shank for secure engagement with compatible rotary hammers and a length that supports through-drilling and deeper anchor holes up to 210 mm. Intended for professional and home workshop use, this drill bit balances drilling speed, stability and wear resistance for routine construction and renovation tasks.
The QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE design provides stable centring and reduced walking at the drill entry, helping to maintain accurate hole positioning. The SDS Plus connection ensures quick and secure tool coupling without adapters. Hardened carbide tip and optimized flute geometry promote efficient material removal and help extend service life when drilling in concrete and masonry. The 10 mm diameter is a common size for anchors and dowels, offering compatibility with standard fixing systems.
Install the drill bit into the SDS Plus chuck until it locks, following the rotary hammer manufacturer's instructions. Select the hammer mode for efficient percussion drilling in concrete and masonry. Position the bit at the marked drilling point, apply steady axial pressure and start at low speed to establish the hole, then increase speed as needed. Clear dust periodically from the hole to maintain drilling efficiency and prevent overheating. After use, withdraw the bit while the tool is running at low speed to help clear debris, then switch off the tool and remove the bit.
For longer service life and consistent performance, use the drill bit with a rotary hammer sized appropriately for the task, avoid excessive lateral force, and periodically clear drill dust. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling in concrete or masonry.
