How to use

Select an SDS Plus rotary hammer with adequate impact energy and set it to the rotary hammer drilling mode. Insert the AWTools QUADRO XTREME bit into the chuck until it locks, then position the tip at the drilling location. Apply steady axial pressure while allowing the tool to perform the cutting and impact action; avoid excessive lateral force that can bend the long bit. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and chips from the hole and to prevent blockage. For through-holes or deep anchors, confirm required depth and use depth stops or marking on the bit as needed.

Usage recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and ear protection and a dust mask. Use a vacuum dust extraction system or intermittent drilling with withdrawal to reduce dust. Match drill speed and hammer force to the material hardness; for reinforced concrete, start with lower advance pressure and increase as needed.
