Circular saw blade AWTools AW48466 — 560 g weight
Circular saw blade AWTools AW48466 — 560 g weight
AWTools AW48466 — 560 g weight circular saw blade engineered for general cutting applications in both workshop and on-site environments. Made of high-quality carbon steel with a laser-cut body and tungsten-carbide teeth, this blade is intended as a replacement or spare part for compatible circular saws. It includes expansion slots to disperse heat and reduce deformation during extended use, and comes with a 30 mm bore plus 22 mm and 16 mm reduction rings for broad compatibility; smaller 115–125 mm variants feature a 22 mm bore. The blade is suitable for transverse and angled cuts in hardwood, wood-based panels and hard plastics.
The laser-cut carbon steel body ensures consistent roundness and balance, while tungsten-carbide teeth provide extended sharpness and improved cutting performance. Expansion slots reduce thermal stress and help maintain blade geometry under heavy loads. Alternating bevel teeth with a 10° positive hook angle produce efficient feed and clean cutting lines. Included reduction rings increase compatibility with a wide range of stationary and portable saws, making the blade practical as a spare or replacement unit.
Before installation, ensure the saw is disconnected from power and that the arbor and reduction rings match the blade bore. Fit the appropriate reduction ring if required and secure the blade following the saw manufacturer's instructions, observing the correct rotation direction. Allow the blade to reach operating speed before cutting and feed the workpiece steadily without forcing. Maintain personal protective equipment and standard safety clearances while operating the saw.
Use the AWTools AW48466 blade for general wood and plastic cutting tasks, avoiding continuous cutting of highly abrasive materials or metal. Inspect the blade for wear or damage before each use, replace when carbide tips are worn or when vibration increases, and keep the blade clean of resin and pitch to preserve cutting quality and prolong service life.
