Welding helmet AWTools AW50015 — viewing area 257×450 mm, weight 450 g
The AWTools AW50015 welding helmet provides full-face protection for welding operations while offering an enlarged viewing area of 257×450 mm and a lightweight construction of 450 g. Constructed from pressboard with a powder-coated steel sheet frame and riveted shield elements, this helmet is intended to protect the eyes and face from sparks, spatter and harmful radiation. The unit accepts replaceable welding filters and clear protective glass and is designed to withstand elevated operating temperatures encountered in welding environments. Manufactured in Poland, it combines a large viewing window and a comfortable handle to help maintain visibility and control during general welding tasks.
The welding helmet’s large viewing area improves visual monitoring of the weld pool and surrounding workpiece without frequent head movement. At 450 g it remains relatively light for extended use, reducing neck strain. Durable materials — pressboard shell, powder-coated steel frame and riveted shield elements — deliver mechanical protection and resistance to workshop conditions. Replaceable filter and clear glass allow filter maintenance and component replacement to extend service life. The design tolerates high welding operation temperatures and includes a comfortable handle to facilitate handling and repositioning.
Place the helmet over the face and adjust position using the handle and any internal fit features so the viewing area aligns with your eyes and provides comfortable coverage of the face. Install the correct welding filter and the clear protective glass into the frame following the filter manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the components are secured by the retaining elements. Before welding, verify the filter shade is appropriate for the welding process and current. Inspect the helmet for damage, secure riveted parts, and replace worn or cracked clear glass or filter elements as needed. Clean the shell and viewing window with suitable, non-abrasive cleaners to maintain visibility.
Use this helmet with compatible welding filters selected for the welding method and current; regularly inspect and replace the clear protective glass and filter elements to maintain optical clarity and protection. Store the helmet away from direct heat sources and prolonged sunlight to preserve materials and coating.
