Welding mask AWTools AW50016, viewing area 195×265 mm, weight 440 g
Welding mask AWTools AW50016, viewing area 195×265 mm, weight 440 g
The AWTools AW50016 welding mask is a lightweight, full-coverage helmet designed to protect the face and eyes during welding, cutting and grinding operations. Constructed from pressboard with a powder-coated steel frame and riveted shield elements, the mask provides a robust, heat-resistant barrier against sparks, spatter and harmful radiation. The viewing area measures 195 × 265 mm, and the net weight is 440 g, making it suitable for extended use in workshops and on-site metalwork tasks. The mask includes a flip-up lens and supports replaceable welding filters and clear glass to adapt to different welding processes.
The combination of pressboard construction and a powder-coated steel frame gives a durable yet relatively light helmet that withstands high welding temperatures. The large 195 × 265 mm viewing area improves visibility of the workpiece while the flip-up lens and replaceable filter system enable quick adaptation between welding and inspection without removing the helmet. Riveted shield elements and a comfortable handle provide reliable assembly and easy handling during frequent use. Manufactured in Poland, the product follows consistent quality and material standards.
Before each use, inspect the shell, frame and lens assembly for cracks, loose rivets or damaged components. Fit a suitable welding filter and clear glass into the lens holder, ensuring they are seated securely. Adjust the helmet on the head so the viewing area aligns with the eyes and the comfortable handle allows stable positioning. Use the flip-up lens to switch between welding and visual inspection without removing the helmet. After finishing work, clean soot and spatter from the shell and lenses with a soft cloth and appropriate cleaner, and store the helmet in a dry place away from direct heat sources.
Choose a welding filter shade appropriate to the welding process and current to ensure adequate eye protection. Replace cracked or heavily scratched filters and clear glass immediately. Although the mask tolerates high temperatures, avoid prolonged direct exposure to open flame and perform regular maintenance checks to preserve protective performance.
