Power chainsaw accessory AWTools AW80159, depth 400 mm, weight 1.4 kg
AWTools AW80159 is a guide bar and chain set designed as an accessory for compatible electric or petrol chainsaws. With a working depth of 400 mm and a net weight of 1.4 kg, this assembly provides a defined cutting depth and steadier handling for guided cuts such as pruning, trimming and repetitive slicing. The one-piece hardened steel guide bar has a powder-coated finish for abrasion and heat resistance, and the chain and components are engineered for accurate guidance and reduced friction.
The guide bar is manufactured from a single piece of hardened steel and finished with a powder coat to resist wear and elevated temperatures. A replaceable sprocket nose secured with four high-tensile rivets and a roller bearing ensure precise guidance with minimal friction loss. The chain features semi-chisel cutters and riveted tie straps to reduce the risk of breaking or stretching during operation. An automatic chain lubrication system supports continuous operation and helps extend component life. The chrome-plated top plate on the cutters increases cutting speed while improving wear resistance.
Install the AWTools AW80159 set on a compatible chainsaw following the chainsaw manufacturer’s instructions for fitting guide bars and chains. Ensure the sprocket nose and roller bearing are correctly seated and the chain tension is adjusted to the recommended specification before operation. Fill the chainsaw’s lubrication reservoir and verify the automatic lubrication feeds oil to the chain. Operate the saw with the guide bar aligned to the intended cutting line, using steady, controlled feed and observing normal safety procedures including personal protective equipment and secure positioning.
Regularly inspect the sprocket nose, rivets and tie straps for wear and replace the sprocket nose or chain if excessive wear or damage is detected. Keep the automatic lubrication system filled and clean, and maintain correct chain tension to maximise cutting performance and component lifespan.
