AWTOOLS AW80382 power chainsaw accessory is a replacement guide bar and chain assembly designed for compatibility with the AWTOOLS CS450 chainsaw. The guide bar is manufactured from a single piece of hardened steel with a durable powder-coated finish to resist abrasion and elevated temperatures. The assembly includes a replaceable sprocket nose secured with four high-tensile rivets and a roller bearing for accurate chain guidance and reduced friction. The chain is made of hardened steel with semi-chisel cutters and a chrome-plated top plate to maintain cutting speed and wear resistance. An automatic chain lubrication system is integrated for consistent lubrication during operation. Total weight: approximately 1 kg.
The one-piece hardened steel guide bar with powder-coated finish increases durability and tolerance to heat and wear. A replaceable sprocket nose and roller bearing lower friction and improve chain tracking for smoother cutting. Semi-chisel cutters combined with a chrome-plated top plate provide sustained cutting performance and extended wear life. Riveted tie straps reinforce the chain construction to reduce the risk of breakage or stretching during heavy use. The built-in automatic lubrication system helps maintain optimal chain condition and reduces maintenance intervals.
Before installation, disconnect the chainsaw from power and follow the manufacturer's safety procedures. Remove the old bar and chain according to the saw's user manual, taking care to release chain tension. Fit the AWTOOLS AW80382 guide bar onto the saw, ensuring the sprocket nose engages correctly and the roller bearing aligns with the drive system. Mount the chain around the guide bar and sprocket, adjust tension to the specification recommended in the saw manual, and secure all fasteners. Verify the automatic lubrication system is functioning and apply initial chain oil before the first use. Perform a short test cut in a safe area to confirm correct installation and tension.
Operate the chainsaw with appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, eye and hearing protection, and chainsaw chaps. Use approved bar and chain oil with the automatic lubrication system and check oil flow before prolonged cutting. Regularly inspect the sprocket nose, rivets, tie straps and chain cutters for wear; replace components when wear affects performance or safety. Maintain correct chain tension and sharpen semi-chisel cutters as needed to preserve cutting efficiency.
