Tape measure AWTools AWBL25414 — 25 mm blade width, 5 m length
AWTools AWBL25414 — 25 mm blade width, 5 m length is a compact hand tape measure designed for everyday use in construction, carpentry and DIY. The tool features a 25 mm wide steel blade with metric graduations, a compact impact-resistant ABS housing coated with TPR for improved grip, and a reinforced magnetic end hook secured with rivets. With a 5 m blade length and class II accuracy, it provides dependable linear measurement for on-site checks, marking and quick dimension verification. The tape measure includes a belt clip and an AUTO STOP tape lock for controlled retraction and stable readings.
The AWTools tape combines a wide 25 mm blade for better visibility of metric graduations with a nylon coating that increases wear resistance. An impact-resistant ABS body with TPR coating enhances handling and protects the tool from drops and rough use. The magnetic end hook reinforced with rivets ensures secure anchoring on metal edges, while the AUTO STOP lock allows single-handed measurement and prevents uncontrolled blade retraction. A belt clip enables convenient carrying on jobsites.
Extend the steel blade to the required length and engage the AUTO STOP tape lock to hold the blade in position for marking or measuring. For anchoring to metal edges, use the magnetic end hook; the reinforced riveted construction provides a stable contact point. After taking measurements, release the lock and guide the blade back into the housing to avoid abrupt retraction. Store the tape measure in a dry place and keep the blade clean to maintain accurate graduations.
Use the tape primarily for metric measurements and avoid bending the blade beyond normal use to preserve accuracy class II. Clean and dry the blade after exposure to dirt or moisture, and check the magnetic end hook and rivets periodically for secure attachment. Do not expose the housing to prolonged UV or chemical contact to prevent material degradation.
