The Axagon ADE-AR USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 Gigabit Ethernet adapter converts a USB-A port into a Gigabit RJ-45 network port, providing wired connectivity up to 1000 Mbit/s. The compact, bus-powered adapter uses the Realtek RTL8153 chipset and is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS. It adds a fast and stable Ethernet connection to desktop computers, laptops and ultrabooks, and can replace a faulty built-in network port or add an additional network interface.

Advantages

The adapter supports Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mb/s), automatic MDI/MDIX crossover correction, IPv4/IPv6 checksum offload to reduce CPU load, TCP large send offload, VLAN tagging, IEEE 802.1P priority and Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az). It is fully plug-and-play, bus-powered via USB-A and includes two LEDs for link and activity indication. Small dimensions and light weight make it convenient for portable use.

How to use

Plug the fixed USB-A connector into a compatible USB 3.2 Gen 1 / USB 3.0 port on the host device. Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port.
