The Axagon ADE-SRC is a compact USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet adapter that converts a USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) Type‑C port into a wired RJ‑45 network connection with speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. It is powered via the USB connection and uses the Realtek RTL8153 chipset. The adapter is compatible with modern Windows, macOS, Linux and many Android devices and provides a durable 15 cm fixed USB‑C cable and a compact black housing.

Advantages

The adapter provides Gigabit bandwidth and a range of networking features such as IPv4/IPv6 checksum offload to reduce CPU load, TCP large send offload, VLAN tagging, Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) and Jumbo Frame support. It supports auto MDI/MDIX for crossover detection and automatic correction, full Plug and Play and Hot Plug operation, and driver auto-installation on recent operating systems without needing an Internet connection.
