The AXAGON ADE-XR compact USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet adapter converts a USB Type-A port into a 10/100 Mbit RJ-45 network connection. It uses the Realtek RTL8152 chipset and provides compatibility with current Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and many Android devices (check device support). The adapter is bus-powered via the USB port, has a permanently attached 5 cm cable with a USB 2.0 Type-A male connector and offers automatic installation on modern systems.

Advantages

The USB Ethernet adapter adds a missing RJ-45 connector, provides a secondary network interface or replaces a broken Ethernet port. It supports IPv4/IPv6 checksum offload, TCP segmentation offload, Auto MDI/MDIX crossover correction, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet and multiple Wake-on-LAN modes.
