Active extension AXAGON ADR-215 USB 2.0 cable, 15 m long, is designed to extend the USB connection between a computer and peripheral devices such as a mouse, keyboard, webcam, printer, scanner or plotter. The active repeater amplifies the USB signal, enabling reliable connection over distances that exceed the limits of passive cables. Multiple ADR-215 cables can be connected in series to further extend the range.

How to use

Connect the USB Type A (M) end to the computer and the USB Type A (F) end to the remote USB device. If the connected device requires more power than the USB bus provides, connect the included USB-A to 3.5 mm power cable to a 5 V USB-A power adapter (minimum 1 A recommended). Multiple ADR-215 cables can be linked in series to extend reach; consider supplying auxiliary power when using several repeaters or when powering high-consumption devices such as 2.5" external drives.

Recommendations
