The AXAGON ADR-215B is an active USB 2.0 repeater cable with a length of 15 metres, designed to connect USB‑B devices such as printers, scanners or plotters to a computer. The active repeater boosts the USB signal to support significantly longer distances than passive cables and can be combined with additional AXAGON extension cables to extend the range further. The cable body is compact for easy installation in cable channels and the shielded construction minimizes interference while preserving USB 2.0 data rates.

Advantages

The ADR-215B includes an integrated auxiliary power connector to supply devices with higher current requirements when bus power is insufficient. It is fully compatible with USB 2.0 and backward compatible with USB 1.1, supports Plug and Play and Hot Plug, and features two LED indicators for power and device connection. Connect the USB Type A male end to your computer and the USB Type B male end to the remote device. If the connected device draws more current than the USB bus provides, plug the included USB‑A to 3.5 mm power cable into a 5 V/≥1 A USB‑A power source (for example a mobile charger) and insert the 3.5 mm jack into the auxiliary power connector on the active module. The cable supports daisy‑chaining with passive USB cables behind the active segment and requires no additional drivers on supported operating systems.
