How to use

Install the AXIS S1148 recorder into a standard 19-inch rack (2U space) and connect to AC mains (100–240 V, 50–60 Hz). Use the integrated recorder toolbox and setup wizard to configure hostname, network settings and date/time. Connect Axis network cameras to the recorder via the LAN ports and activate the preinstalled AXIS Camera Station licenses. Configure RAID according to required redundancy and performance, add extra hard disks if needed on supported variants, and verify system performance using the built-in verification tools.
