It delivers 4 MP (2304 x 1728) video, a wide field of view and robust mechanical protection in a stainless-steel or white housing. The camera is suitable for ceiling or wall mounting and provides reliable performance in demanding conditions while supporting H.264 and H.265 with Axis Zipstream to reduce bandwidth and storage use.

The camera features an anti-ligature, vandal-resistant design with an IK10+ rated casing and IP66/IP69K protection for cleaning with high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. How to use

Mount the camera in a corner on the ceiling or wall to achieve full coverage of the monitored area and to minimise blind spots. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable network switch or compatible media converter (for example PoE+ over coax solutions) using the RJ-45 port, or use the HDMI output for local monitoring. Configure video settings, WDR and Zipstream compression via the camera’s web interface or management software. If audio is required, install the removable built-in microphone. After mounting, apply tamper-resistant sealant along the edges if a permanent anti-ligature installation is needed; the camera remains serviceable even if the back chassis is sealed.

Usage recommendations

For installations in prisons or psychiatric units, position the camera to cover the entire cell area from the corner and enable privacy masking where required. Use the 940 nm IR illumination for non-visible night monitoring and enable signed firmware and TPM features to maintain system integrity.
