AXIS FA54 is a compact network video recorder system that supports up to four AXIS FA Sensor Units, allowing discreet and cost-efficient surveillance of four nearby areas with a single device. The main unit can stream full frame rate HDTV 1080p video from all four sensor units simultaneously over one IP address, supports quad view streaming and provides an HDMI output for connection to a surveillance or public view monitor. The device employs Forensic WDR tuned for motion and Axis Zipstream compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements.

How to use

Install up to four AXIS FA Sensor Units and connect them to the AXIS FA54 main unit according to the supplied installation guide. Connect the main unit to the network via the RJ-45 Ethernet port and insert a compatible MicroSD card if local recording is required. Use the device web interface or supported management software to configure IP settings, sensor assignments and recording parameters. Connect an HDMI monitor for local quad view or single-view display if needed.
