How to use

Mount AXIS A9801 on the secure side of the door inside a standard installation box and connect it inline with the door strike wiring and the Axis network video door station according to the installation instructions from Axis. If the door station is tampered with, the relay will cut the strike connection, keeping the door locked. Use the built-in reset button to restore normal operation after resolving the tampering event. To control a 24 V lock from a 12 V door station, connect the relay so the device uses its voltage-doubling function following the wiring diagram provided by the manufacturer.
