AXIS P1387-LE is a box IP security camera designed for outdoor wall mounting with wired Ethernet connectivity. It captures up to 2592×1944 (5 MP) resolution at 60 fps using a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor and supports exchangeable lenses to adapt field of view and focal length. The camera delivers low-light performance down to 0.02 lx, offers OptimizedIR for night surveillance up to approximately 50 m, and provides durable environmental protection with IP66/IP67, IK10 and NEMA 4X ratings for demanding outdoor conditions.

Advantages

How to use

Mount the AXIS P1387-LE on a stable exterior wall using a compatible wall mount and position an appropriate exchangeable lens to achieve the desired coverage. Connect the camera to a wired Ethernet network; power can be supplied via PoE or a redundant DC source as required. Configure resolution, frame rate and image processing profiles to match the monitored scene, and select scene profiles or enable defogging, IR and stabilization when necessary. Integrate the camera with your VMS or AXIS analytics for on-edge processing and metadata collection.

Usage recommendations

Use the lens calculator to choose the optimal lens for required coverage and distance. For long-range observation enable OptimizedIR and select an appropriate P-Iris-adjusted lens to maximise contrast. Ensure the mounting location provides solid vibration isolation to benefit from electronic image stabilization, and enable power redundancy where continuous operation is critical.
