Motion Detector Wired Axis 01564-001

AXIS D2110-VE Security Radar (marketed here as Motion Detector Wired Axis 01564-001) is a networked radar detector designed for perimeter and area protection. It provides wide 180° coverage with a detection distance up to 85 m and operates in the 2405–2425 MHz band. The unit supports installation up to 3.5 m height, uses PoE-out to power an additional device, and offers low power consumption with an input voltage range of 8–28 V for flexible deployment.

Advantages

The device uses advanced radar technology combined with built-in analytics developed with machine learning and deep learning to detect, classify and track people and vehicles while maintaining a low false alarm rate. PoE-out enables powering and connecting supplementary equipment such as a camera for visual verification or a network horn speaker. Smart coexistence allows installation of multiple radars in close proximity, for example two radars mounted back-to-back for 360° coverage.

How to use

Mount the radar at a height up to 3.5 m and orient it to cover the intended 180° field. Connect the unit to the network and supply power within the 8–28 V input range or via PoE. Use the onboard analytics settings to tune detection and classification parameters for people and vehicles, and connect a camera or network speaker to the PoE-out port for visual verification or deterrence as required. When deploying multiple radars, enable smart coexistence to minimize mutual interference.

Usage recommendations

The device performs best when installed on a stable mounting with a clear field of view; avoid placing it behind large reflective surfaces. Configure analytics thresholds and verification camera angles during commissioning to reduce false alarms and ensure reliable detection of people and vehicles.
