BAHCO 3830-102-VIP is a single 102 mm diameter hole saw designed for use with a standard drill and arbor. How to use

Install the hole saw on a compatible arbor and tighten according to the arbor manufacturer's instructions. Mark the centre of the hole and, where possible, use a pilot bit to stabilise the tool. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and apply steady pressure while ensuring coolant or cutting lubrication when cutting metals to reduce heat and prolong blade life. For plastics and wood, use moderate speed and avoid excessive feed to prevent melting or splintering. After cutting, clear swarf and burrs before fitting components.

Usage recommendations

For best results when cutting metals, use cutting fluid and maintain steady, moderate cutting speed. When working with stainless steel, reduce speed and increase lubrication to avoid work hardening. Replace or re-sharpen the pilot bit and check arbor tightness regularly to ensure accurate, safe operation.
