How to use

Install the hole saw into an appropriate arbour or mandrel compatible with your drill, ensuring the pilot bit (if present) and mandrel are secured. Clamp the workpiece or secure it to prevent movement. Set the drill to a controlled speed suitable for the material: slower speeds for stainless steel and harder metals, higher speeds for wood and plastics. Position the pilot point at the intended center, start the drill with steady pressure and allow the hole saw to cut without excessive force. Periodically withdraw to clear chips and reduce heat buildup. After cutting, remove burrs as needed with a file or deburring tool.

Usage recommendations

For extended tool life when cutting metal or stainless steel, use cutting fluid or lubricant, operate at lower speeds, and avoid prolonged continuous cutting without pauses to dissipate heat. When cutting thin sheet materials, back the workpiece with a sacrificial piece to reduce deformation and burr formation.
