How to use

Fit the hole saw to an appropriate arbor or mandrel for your drill according to the arbor manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring secure attachment and correct pilot bit if required. Mark the centre of the intended hole and set drill speed appropriate to the material: lower speed for stainless steel and thicker metals, higher speed for wood and plastics. Apply steady, moderate pressure and permit the saw to cut without forcing; withdraw periodically to clear chips and reduce heat build-up. After cutting, deburr the hole edges if necessary.

Usage recommendations

Use cutting lubricant when working with steel and stainless steel to extend tool life and improve cutting performance. For long cuts in metal, operate at lower speeds and allow the tool to cool intermittently. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection and gloves, and secure the workpiece during drilling.
