How to use

Secure the hole saw to a compatible arbor and tighten it into the drill chuck according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the center of the intended hole and, if available, use a pilot drill to create a guide hole. Operate the drill at a speed appropriate to the material being cut—lower speeds for metals and higher speeds for wood and plastic—while applying even pressure and allowing the saw to cut without forcing. Periodically withdraw the saw to clear chips and prevent overheating, especially when cutting metal. Finish the cut and deburr the hole edges as needed.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. When cutting metal, use cutting lubricant to extend tool life and reduce heat buildup. Ensure the drill and arbor are rated for the diameter and material; check that the pilot bit is properly centered to maintain accurate hole placement.
