Hacksaw Blade BAHCO 3906-300-32-100 — 30 cm blade length, 0.65 mm width
BAHCO 3906-300-32-100 is a 30 cm bi-metal hacksaw blade with a 0.65 mm blade width, designed for thin, precise cutting of metals. The blade pairs a flexible spring-steel back with a high-alloy super high-speed steel tooth strip for long-lasting sharpness and reliable performance in general metalworking and DIY tasks where a narrow profile is required. It is supplied in various pack formats for retail and professional use.
The Sandflex® bi-metal construction combines a flexible, strong blade back with a wear-resistant super HSS tooth line, delivering fast cuts, increased longevity and excellent resistance to breakage. The design offers a high degree of flexibility while retaining superior cutting performance compared with hard high-speed blades or conventional flexible blades. Multiple packaging options provide convenient storage and handling.
This blade is optimised for metal cutting and thin-profile work; it is not intended for heavy demolition, masonry, wood with large cross-sections, or continuous cutting of extremely hard tool steels where specialised abrasive or tooth geometries are required. For heavy-duty structural cutting or applications exceeding the blade’s flexibility and cutting geometry, choose a blade specifically designed for those tasks.
Fit the 300 mm blade into a compatible hacksaw frame, ensuring correct tooth orientation for cutting (teeth pointing away from the handle for forward cutting). Maintain appropriate tension in the frame to prevent blade flexing and ensure straight cuts. Use steady, even strokes with moderate feed pressure; allow the blade’s thin profile and HSS teeth to cut without forcing. Replace the blade when cutting performance decreases or teeth show wear.
Use for general metalworking and precision cutting tasks: select a finer TPI for thin-walled or hard materials and a coarser TPI for faster removal on softer metals. Keep the blade tensioned correctly and replace when cutting slows or teeth wear.
