Carbon Filter for BambuLab 3D Printers X1 and P1S - BambuLab BML-24043
Replacement carbon filter designed for BambuLab 3D printers in the X1 and P1S series. The activated charcoal filter is intended to reduce fumes and odors produced during printing with filaments that emit volatile compounds. It is compatible with BambuLab enclosures and filtration modules and helps to improve air quality around the printer while working with ABS, PETG, nylon and other odor-producing materials.
This carbon filter uses activated charcoal to adsorb airborne organic compounds and unpleasant smells generated during filament extrusion. It is shaped and sized for straightforward installation in compatible BambuLab enclosures and filtration modules, allowing quick replacement without special tools. The filter provides a passive means of odor reduction and contributes to a cleaner working environment when printing materials known to emit fumes.
Turn off the printer and allow the enclosure to cool before replacing the filter. Open the enclosure or filtration module according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions, remove the spent filter cartridge, and insert the replacement carbon filter until it seats securely. Close the enclosure and confirm correct seating by powering the printer and checking that any fan or filtration indicators operate normally. Replace the filter periodically based on print volume, filament types used, and observed reduction in odor control.
For best results, change the carbon filter after prolonged use with high-emission filaments such as ABS or nylon, or sooner if odors return. Store spare filters in a sealed, dry container to preserve adsorption capacity before installation. Use alongside proper ventilation and, when appropriate, a full enclosure to manage heat and emissions during printing.
