BambuLab PTFE Tube for AMS and X1/P1 Series Printers — 3 pcs
BambuLab PTFE Tube for AMS and X1/P1 Series Printers — 3 pcs is a set of three precision-cut PTFE filament liners designed for use with BambuLab AMS systems and the X1 and P1 series 3D printers. These tubes act as low-friction filament guides inside the filament path, reducing resistance and helping to maintain consistent filament motion during printing. Supplied as a three-piece pack, the tubing is intended for routine maintenance, replacement of worn liners, or preventive upkeep to preserve extrusion reliability in both single-extruder and multi-material AMS configurations.
The PTFE material offers a smooth, low-friction internal surface that minimizes filament drag, which contributes to stable extrusion and fewer feeding interruptions. A matched diameter and length ensure compatibility with the filament path geometry of AMS units and X1/P1 printers, enabling straightforward installation and consistent performance. Providing three tubes in one pack allows for multiple replacements or spares, reducing downtime when maintaining multi-material setups.
Turn off and cool the printer before accessing the filament path. Remove the old or damaged PTFE liner from the AMS or hotend assembly following the manufacturer’s service instructions. Insert the replacement PTFE tube into the filament guide channel so that the ends are seated correctly and filament moves freely through the liner. Trim or position the tube as required to match the assembly tolerances and reassemble the filament path components. After installation, feed filament manually to verify smooth movement and perform a short test print to confirm consistent extrusion.
Periodically inspect PTFE liners for signs of wear, deformation or contamination; replace tubes if filament shows increased resistance, grinding, or inconsistent flow. Use the supplied three-pack to keep a spare on hand and perform scheduled maintenance, particularly in multi-material AMS configurations where frequent filament changes increase liner wear.
