BambuLab PLA Basic 1.75 mm 1 kg with reusable spool — Bambu Green is a biodegradable PLA filament formulated for standard FDM/FFF desktop 3D printers. The filament comes wound on a reusable spool and has a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm, making it compatible with most consumer-grade extruders. PLA Basic is intended for general-purpose printing of prototypes, scale models and everyday objects where ease of use, dimensional stability and low warping are priorities.
This PLA filament offers straightforward extrusion and consistent layer adhesion, reducing the need for complex print settings. Its biodegradable base material allows printing with minimal odor and limited environmental impact compared with some engineering plastics. The reusable spool simplifies storage and spool management while reducing waste. The Bambu Green color provides good opacity and visual consistency for parts and models.
Install the filament on a compatible 1.75 mm extruder and feed it into the hotend following your printer manufacturer's filament loading procedure. Recommended printing temperatures for PLA are typically in the range supported by your printer; begin with a mid-range nozzle temperature (for example, the value suggested by your printer or slicer for PLA) and adjust slightly if needed to optimise flow and surface finish. Print at moderate speeds and enable cooling fans for improved bridging and detail.
Store the spool in a dry environment or a sealed bag with desiccant to maintain filament dryness and print quality. If you encounter under-extrusion or inconsistent diameter, verify filament path and clean the nozzle. For stronger parts, consider increasing infill percentage or print multiple perimeters. The reusable spool can be rewound and used with filament winding accessories for neat storage.
