3D Printer Filament BambuLab PLA Basic 1.75 mm 1 kg Yellow
BambuLab PLA Basic 1.75 mm 1 kg in Yellow is a standard polylactic acid (PLA) filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. This spool delivers consistent filament diameter and a neutral yellow color suitable for prototypes, household items, visual models and educational projects. PLA Basic offers the typical properties of PLA: low tendency to warp, good dimensional stability and straightforward printability at common PLA temperatures.
The filament provides reliable extrusion and layer adhesion suitable for a wide range of desktop 3D printers. Its low-warping behavior reduces the need for heated build plates or aggressive bed adhesion methods in many prints. Consistent spool winding and filament roundness help minimize print failures and allow steady feeding through Bowden or direct-drive extruders. The neutral yellow color produces clear, easily visible details for models and prototypes.
Load the 1.75 mm filament onto your printer according to the manufacturer's instructions and set the hotend temperature to a typical PLA range (usually 190–220°C). Use a moderate print speed and set bed adhesion according to the model size and printer type; many prints succeed on a clean, slightly warm bed or with a blue painter's tape/PEI sheet. Monitor the first layer to ensure good adhesion and correct extrusion. Store the spool in a dry environment when not in use to maintain print quality.
For best results, dry filament before printing if it has been exposed to humid conditions. Adjust print temperature and cooling fan settings to fine-tune surface finish and layer bonding; increased part cooling typically improves detail on PLA. Avoid high-temperature or long-duration use for parts expected to bear loads or be exposed to heat, as PLA has limited heat resistance compared with engineering polymers.
