Filament BambuLab PC 1.75 mm 1 kg Black
BambuLab PC 1.75 mm 1 kg Black is a polycarbonate filament formulated for 3D printing applications that require strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability. Supplied on a 1 kg spool with a 1.75 mm diameter, this filament is intended for use in printers compatible with PC materials and fine-diameter feed systems. The black color offers a uniform surface finish for functional parts, housings and mechanical components where durability and thermal performance are important.
This PC filament provides high tensile strength and good impact resistance compared with many standard thermoplastics, enabling the production of load-bearing parts. Its elevated glass transition temperature increases resistance to deformation under heat, making it suitable for applications exposed to higher operating temperatures. The material offers good layer adhesion and dimensional stability when printed with appropriate settings, resulting in reliable mechanical properties and long-term performance.
Load the filament into a 3D printer compatible with polycarbonate materials and a 1.75 mm feed. Set printing parameters according to manufacturer recommendations for PC: high nozzle temperature, heated build plate temperature, and, if available, an enclosed or heated chamber to reduce warping. Ensure the printer's extrusion system and hot end can handle PC's higher printing temperatures and use a suitable build surface or adhesion aid to improve first-layer bonding. Monitor the first layers and adjust cooling and flow as needed to achieve consistent extrusion and layer adhesion.
Store the spool in a dry environment and use desiccant where possible to prevent moisture absorption. Dry filament before printing if hygroscopic symptoms appear (bubbling, poor surface finish). Use controlled printing conditions—recommended nozzle and bed temperatures, slow to moderate print speeds, and minimal part cooling—to optimize mechanical properties and reduce the risk of warping or delamination.
