Filament BambuLab PLA Matte 1.75 mm 1 kg — Dark Brown
Filament BambuLab PLA Matte 1.75 mm 1 kg — Dark Brown
BambuLab PLA Matte 1.75 mm 1 kg — Dark Brown is a biodegradable PLA filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. The matte formulation reduces surface gloss, producing parts with a subdued, even appearance suitable for visible prototypes, hobby models and decorative items. The 1 kg spool provides a balanced supply for small to medium-sized projects while preserving filament quality through controlled winding and consistent diameter.
The matte PLA offers reduced shine and improved visual uniformity compared with standard glossy PLA, resulting in a smoother-looking surface with fewer visible reflections. Its 1.75 mm diameter is produced to consistent tolerances to support reliable extrusion and steady flow during printing. As a PLA material, it is easier to print at moderate temperatures and has lower warping tendencies than many engineering plastics, making it suitable for desktop FDM/FFF machines.
Load the filament onto a 3D printer configured for 1.75 mm material and ensure secure spool mounting to avoid tension during feeding. Typical printing temperatures for PLA are moderate; start within the manufacturer-recommended range for PLA (commonly 190–220 °C) and adjust nozzle and bed temperatures according to your printer and part requirements. Use appropriate retraction and cooling settings to reduce stringing and improve surface finish. Keep filament dry and store the spool in a sealed container or bag with desiccant when not in use to maintain print quality.
For best matte surface results, enable part cooling and moderate layer heights; avoid excessive smoothing or post-processing that adds gloss. Verify first-layer adhesion with a calibrated bed and consider using a glue stick or PEI sheet if adhesion issues occur.
