Filament BambuLab Refill ABS 1.75 mm 1 kg – Orange
Filament BambuLab Refill ABS 1.75 mm 1 kg – Orange
BambuLab Refill ABS 1.75 mm 1 kg – Orange is a filament formulated for fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printing. With a 1.75 mm diameter and a 1 kg spool, this ABS material is intended for applications that require improved strength, higher heat resistance and dimensional stability compared with common PLA. The orange color provides a vivid finish for functional prototypes, mechanical parts and housings where visibility or color coding is useful. The filament is designed to work with printers that support 1.75 mm ABS and that have appropriate heated bed and, if possible, an enclosed build chamber.
ABS offers a balance of mechanical strength, thermal resistance and toughness suitable for functional components. The BambuLab Refill formulation provides consistent diameter and spool winding to reduce feed issues and support reliable printing. The orange pigment delivers good color uniformity, while ABS’s post-processing compatibility enables sanding, acetone smoothing and secondary assembly. The material’s dimensional stability makes it suitable for parts that will be exposed to moderate heat or mechanical stress.
Load the 1.75 mm ABS filament into a compatible FFF printer following the printer manufacturer’s filament loading procedure. Set nozzle temperatures typically in the ABS range (consult printer and filament guidelines), and enable a heated bed to reduce warping. When available, use an enclosed build chamber and adhesive bed surface to improve first-layer adhesion and minimize delamination. Print settings such as slower print speed, adequate cooling management and proper retraction can help achieve consistent results. After printing, allow parts to cool gradually before removal to avoid deformation.
Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to preserve printability. For best dimensional accuracy and surface finish, calibrate extrusion settings and bed leveling, and consider post-processing methods such as sanding or controlled solvent vapor smoothing where appropriate.
