Filament BambuLab Refill ABS 1.75 mm 1 kg - Silver
BambuLab Refill ABS 1.75 mm 1 kg in Silver is a thermoplastic filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printing applications that require enhanced heat resistance and mechanical strength. The filament is supplied on a 1 kg spool with a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and is intended for use in printers that accept ABS filament of this diameter. BambuLab Refill ABS prints solid parts suitable for functional prototypes, mechanical components, housings and post-processed finished items when correct printing settings and handling procedures are followed.
This ABS filament delivers strong layer adhesion, dimensional stability at elevated temperatures and good impact resistance compared with common PLA materials. The silver color provides a neutral, metallic appearance that is suitable for visible parts and housings. The material is compatible with standard ABS print temperatures and can be post-processed by sanding, acetone smoothing (where applicable) and painting to achieve different surface finishes.
Load the filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer that accepts 1.75 mm ABS. Set nozzle and bed temperatures according to your printer manufacturer’s ABS recommendations; common starting values are a nozzle temperature in the range of 230–260 °C and a heated bed in the range of 80–110 °C, but actual settings should be tuned for your machine, nozzle size and print speed. Use an enclosed build chamber or other means to reduce drafts and temperature fluctuations to minimize warping. Ensure proper bed adhesion using appropriate build surfaces or adhesives, and allow parts to cool gradually after printing.
Store the filament in a dry environment and use desiccant or sealed packaging to prevent moisture uptake. When switching from other plastics, purge the hotend and clean the nozzle to avoid contamination. Adjust retraction and cooling settings as needed for overhangs and bridging; reduce part warping by using brims, rafts or enclosure temperature control.
