Filament BambuLab PETG Translucent 1.75 mm 1 kg with reusable spool - Clear
BambuLab PETG Translucent 1.75 mm 1 kg with reusable spool - Clear is a semi-transparent PETG filament designed for 3D printing applications that require a balance of strength, dimensional stability and visual clarity. The filament is supplied on a reusable spool and has a 1.75 mm nominal diameter with 1 kg net weight, making it suitable for a wide range of desktop and prosumer FDM printers. PETG material offers improved layer adhesion and lower warping compared with many other thermoplastics, plus good resistance to impact and common chemicals, enabling both prototyping and functional end-use parts with a clear, translucent appearance.
This PETG filament provides reliable extrusion consistency, good interlayer bonding and reduced tendency to warp, which helps maintain dimensional accuracy in medium-size prints. The translucent clear formulation delivers an attractive semi-transparent finish while retaining mechanical performance for functional components. The reusable spool simplifies storage and handling and reduces waste compared with single-use spools. Overall, the material combines ease of printing, chemical resistance and toughness appropriate for enclosures, clips, brackets and decorative objects.
Load the filament onto a compatible extruder designed for 1.75 mm filament and secure the spool on the printer or spool holder. Set a nozzle temperature and bed temperature according to your printer and slicer recommendations for PETG; typical starting points are a nozzle temperature in the range recommended by the printer or filament vendor and a heated bed to promote adhesion. Calibrate extrusion multiplier, print speed and retraction settings to minimize stringing while preserving layer adhesion. Allow printed parts to cool gradually on the build plate or remove them once the part is stable; post-processing such as light sanding or polishing can improve surface finish if required.
For best results, dry the filament if it has been exposed to humid conditions and store the reusable spool in a sealed container with desiccant. Use moderate print speeds and optimize retraction to reduce stringing inherent to PETG. When printing parts that require high dimensional precision, perform small calibration prints to refine temperature and flow settings before large prints.
