Filament BambuLab Refill PETG Translucent 1.75 mm 1 kg — Translucent Pink
BambuLab Refill PETG Translucent 1.75 mm 1 kg — Translucent Pink is a spool of PETG filament designed for FDM 3D printing. The material combines good mechanical strength, chemical resistance and reliable layer adhesion with a translucent pink tint that allows partial light transmission. The filament is supplied on a 1 kg spool in 1.75 mm diameter and is intended for use with printers that support standard PETG temperature ranges and 1.75 mm filament.
The PETG formulation offers a balance of toughness and printability: it resists impact better than standard PLA while maintaining easier print behaviour than many engineering plastics. Translucent pigmentation provides soft light diffusion for functional components, prototypes and decorative objects without compromising layer bonding. The 1.75 mm diameter and standard spool format ensure compatibility with a wide range of consumer and prosumer FDM printers.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into a compatible FDM printer following the manufacturer's filament loading procedure. Set nozzle and bed temperatures within recommended PETG ranges as indicated by your printer or slicer profile, and adjust print speed, retraction and cooling to reduce stringing and improve surface finish. Use an adhesive bed surface or moderate bed temperature to ensure first-layer adhesion; allow prints to cool gradually to avoid warping. Store the unused filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to maintain printability.
For best results, start with established PETG print profiles and fine-tune settings for your specific printer and model geometry. Reduce retraction distance and increase retraction speed moderately if you observe excessive stringing with translucent variants. When printing parts intended to transmit or diffuse light, consider single-wall or thin-shell models and experiment with infill percentage and orientation to achieve the desired translucency and mechanical performance.
