Bearing puller Beast 250mm - Beast model 8018971, 250 mm reach
Mechanical three-leg bearing puller Beast 250mm (model 8018971) designed for removing bearings, gears, pulleys, discs and rings. The tool provides a 250 mm reach and is adapted for controlled extraction in workshop and maintenance tasks without damaging mating parts.
The three legs are individually adjustable and feature a bilateral construction that allows removal of internal and external rings mounted at different depths. The puller is compatible with a 17 mm wrench and its screw thread length of 230 mm provides sufficient travel for most extraction jobs. Maximum removable ring diameter at the outer leg position is 120 mm and the device accepts ring thicknesses up to 100 mm with a gripping depth of 15 mm.
Select the appropriate leg orientation for internal or external extraction and adjust each leg so the claws engage the component evenly. Position the central screw on the shaft or seating surface, then turn the screw with a 17 mm wrench to apply steady, even force until the part is extracted. For deep or recessed rings use the bilateral leg positions to reach different depths, and re-check leg engagement before applying full force.
Before use ensure the workpiece and tool are clean and free of debris. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Apply lubricant to the screw thread if movement is stiff and avoid applying sudden shocks. Do not exceed the tool’s intended sizes: 250 mm reach, 120 mm max diameter and 100 mm max thickness.
