Cable shears Beast 9056042 for Al/Cu cables 1.6–4 mm, hand tool
Professional cable shears Beast 9056042 designed for cutting Al/Cu cables and removing insulation from wires. Made from hardened chrome-vanadium steel, this hand tool cuts individual conductors, wire bundles and thicker cables while protecting the conductor strands during insulation stripping. The shears include dedicated blades for wire stripping with four defined sizes suitable for 8, 10, 12 and 14 AWG (approx. 2.0–8.4 mm²).
Hardened chrome-vanadium steel construction ensures durability and reliable cutting performance. Two cutting notches with diameters of 7 mm and 24 mm allow efficient cutting of a range of cable thicknesses. The four fixed stripping sizes provide consistent, repeatable insulation removal without damaging conductor strands. Ergonomic two-component handle with a non-slip textured surface improves grip and control during use.
Place the cable or wire in the appropriate cutting notch or stripping blade for the required diameter. For cutting, align the conductor in the 7 mm or 24 mm notch as suited to the cable thickness and squeeze the handles firmly to complete the cut. For stripping insulation, choose the correct fixed stripping size (8–14 AWG), clamp the tool around the insulated section and rotate or pull to remove the insulation while keeping the conductor strands intact. Inspect the conductor after stripping to ensure no damage occurred.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow standard electrical safety procedures. Do not use the tool on live circuits. Keep blades clean and lightly lubricated; sharpen or replace if cutting performance degrades. Store the shears dry to prevent corrosion.
