Digital multimeter BENNING DUTEST pro
The BENNING DUTEST pro is a compact digital multimeter designed for reliable detection of wiring faults, contact errors and cable interruptions. It provides fast location of defective fuses, lamps, wires and short-circuits and combines continuity, diode and polarity tests with external-voltage and phase detection. The unit is battery powered (3 x 1.5 V AA) and built to CAT III 300 V safety standards with a shock- and impact-resistant housing, magnetic holder and belt clip for easy handling on-site.
The instrument shows continuity and diode test results via LEDs and an acoustic buzzer, with three LED ranges for visual resistance indication (0–100 Ω / 1 kΩ / 10 kΩ). A buzzer provides acoustic feedback up to approximately 100 Ω. External-voltage detection covers 6 V–400 V with LED and buzzer indication. Additional features include polarity and single-pole phase testing using a 4 mm probe, non-contact phase/cable-break detection, an integrated bright LED torch, adjustable buzzer volume and LED brightness in four steps, integrated self-test for LEDs/torch/buzzer, and low-battery indication.
Insert three AA batteries and switch on the DUTEST pro. Use the appropriate test function for continuity, diode, polarity or voltage detection. For single-pole phase testing connect the 4 mm test probe to the conductor; the red phase LED will flash when phase is present. For non-contact phase or cable-break detection hold the tester near the conductor and observe the red phase LED indication and buzzer. Use the LED torch for illumination as needed. Adjust buzzer volume and LED brightness using the four-step settings. The integrated self-test verifies LEDs, torch and buzzer operation before use.
Verify battery condition regularly and replace all three AA cells when the low-battery indication appears. Observe the CAT III 300 V rating and use appropriate personal protective equipment when working on live circuits. Do not attempt measurements beyond the specified voltage and category limits.
