Electric Chainsaw BESK Motorzāģis 9122587 is a mains-powered chainsaw designed for cutting firewood, pruning and general garden woodwork. It features a copper motor and runs on 230–240 V / 50 Hz supply. The chain bar length is 18 inches and the tool includes automatic chain lubrication and a 200 ml oil reservoir, providing continuous chain lubrication during operation.
The chainsaw offers a copper motor for reliable performance, soft-start functionality for smoother power-up (soft-start model rated 2400 W; without soft-start 2000 W), and a continuous output power of 1800 W. It provides a cutting speed of 16 m/s and a no-load speed of 8500 rpm. The saw uses a 0.25 m VDE power cord and includes tool-free chain tensioning for quick adjustments.
Before use, check oil level in the 200 ml tank and fill with recommended chain oil. Connect the chainsaw to a 230–240 V / 50 Hz outlet using the supplied 0.25 m VDE cable. Use the chain tensioning knob to set correct chain tension without tools. Start the saw using the standard switch; if the model includes soft-start, expect a smoother acceleration. Maintain a firm two-handed grip, follow safe cutting practices, and avoid cutting above shoulder height. After use, switch off and disconnect the tool before performing any maintenance or chain adjustments.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye and hearing protection) and keep the chain properly lubricated. For prolonged or heavy-duty cutting, allow the motor to cool periodically and inspect the chain and bar for wear. Follow local safety regulations and the manufacturer’s instructions for safe operation and maintenance.
