Magnetizer/Demagnetizer for Screwdrivers Beta Tools 1200MS
Beta Tools 1200MS is a compact magnetizer/demagnetizer designed specifically for screwdriver tips. It enables controlled magnetization to hold screws securely during fastening and controlled demagnetization when magnetic influence is undesirable. The tool is hand-operated and portable, suitable for use in workshops and on-site environments where consistent tip magnetism is required for electronics, assembly and maintenance tasks.
The device provides quick and repeatable magnetizing and demagnetizing of steel screwdriver tips without the need for power supply. Its compact form factor makes it easy to carry in a tool kit or pocket, while the simple mechanical operation reduces setup time. The tool preserves the screwdriver geometry and does not require adhesives or alterations to the bit, allowing reversible magnetic control as needed during work.
To magnetize a screwdriver tip, insert the tip into the magnetizing slot and move it according to the tool instructions until the desired holding strength is achieved. To demagnetize, insert the tip into the demagnetizing slot and withdraw it following the recommended motion to reduce or remove residual magnetism. Repeat the process as needed to obtain consistent results; the operation is mechanical and requires only a few seconds per tip.
Use the magnetizer/demagnetizer on clean, dry screwdriver tips made of steel. Avoid using the tool near sensitive magnetic media or devices vulnerable to magnetic fields. Verify tip magnetism strength on a scrap screw before precision work, and demagnetize when magnetic attraction may interfere with measurement or component placement.
