Strap Sling Beta Tools BE8153-6M — 2000 kg capacity, 6 m length
Beta Tools BE8153-6M is a woven synthetic strap sling designed for lifting, towing and securing loads. With a rated capacity of 2000 kg and a length of 6 m, the sling offers a soft, wide contact surface that reduces pressure on lifted items and helps protect finishes and fragile components. It is suitable for use in workshops, on vehicles and at construction sites where a flexible, non-abrasive lifting solution is required. The polyester construction provides strength combined with some resistance to abrasion and weathering typical for general-purpose lifting webbing.
The strap sling combines a high working load limit of 2000 kg with a lightweight, flexible design that is easy to stow and deploy. Its wide woven profile distributes load forces evenly to minimise damage to the lifted object and to increase grip stability when used with hooks, shackles or spreader bars. Being made from synthetic fibres, the sling is non-conductive and reduces the risk of scratching or denting surfaces compared with metal slings. The 6 m length provides extended reach without the need for additional extensions in many common handling tasks.
Inspect the sling for visible damage, cuts, abrasion or chemical contamination before each use. Choose appropriate lifting points and connectors compatible with the sling’s width and rated capacity. Wrap or choke the sling around the load or pass it through attachment points, then secure with suitable hooks or shackles ensuring the angle of lift keeps stresses within rated limits. Avoid sharp edges on the load; use protective sleeves or padding where necessary. Do not exceed the rated capacity of 2000 kg and avoid shock loading. After use, clean and store the sling dry and away from direct UV exposure to prolong service life.
For safe operation, follow manufacturer and workplace lifting rules, perform regular inspections, and select connectors and slinging methods that keep the sling load angle within recommended limits. Use edge protection when contact with sharp or rough surfaces is unavoidable, and replace the sling immediately if any damage affecting strength is detected.
