Socket Bit 1/4" Drive, Beta Tools TORX T5 (5 mm) BE900FTX/5
Beta Tools BE900FTX/5 is a 1/4" drive TORX T5 (5 mm) socket bit engineered for accurate engagement with TORX-head fasteners. Made by a recognised tool manufacturer, this bit is suited to tasks that require compact access and precise torque control, such as electronics repair, small-mechanism servicing and maintenance of assemblies with fine fasteners. The 1/4" square drive interface allows use with standard bit holders, extension bars and ratchets compatible with 1/4" tooling.
The TORX T5 geometry provides positive, low-slip contact with fastener recesses, reducing cam-out and wear on both fastener and bit. The 1/4" drive format ensures compatibility with a wide range of hand tools and driver systems while keeping the overall tool size small for tight spaces. Manufactured to industry tolerances, the bit offers consistent fit and repeatable performance for precision tasks.
Insert the 1/4" drive end of the socket bit into a compatible bit holder, extension or ratchet. Align the TORX T5 tip with the corresponding fastener recess and apply steady axial pressure while turning the driver to tighten or loosen the fastener. Use controlled torque to avoid damage to small or delicate fasteners; for power tools, select a low-torque setting or use a manual driver for greater control.
For best results, inspect the fastener head and bit tip for wear before use. Use the bit with tools appropriate for the task — manual drivers for fine torque work and controlled power tools when required. Store the bit in a clean, dry tool case to prevent corrosion and protect the tip geometry.
