Insulated Cable Terminal Blue 2.5/5 (10 pcs) for 1.5–2.5 mm² — Beta Tools
Insulated cable terminals by Beta Tools, size 2.5/5 supplied in a pack of 10, are designed for use with stranded conductors having cross-sections from 1.5 to 2.5 mm². The blue insulating sleeve and metal ferrule form a compact end connection that facilitates reliable crimp joints, reduces wire fraying and improves contact stability in terminal blocks, control cabinets and general wiring installations.
The combination of a tin-plated metal ferrule and a coloured insulating sleeve ensures corrosion resistance and clear visual identification of conductor size. These insulated end ferrules produce consistent crimp quality with standard manual or hydraulic crimping tools, delivering secure mechanical and electrical contact. Their compact length and sleeve design provide strain relief at the wire termination point and reduce the risk of short circuits caused by stray strands.
Strip the conductor to the recommended length for the ferrule, insert the stranded wire fully into the metal tube so no strands protrude, and position the insulating sleeve at the termination. Use an appropriately sized crimping tool or die for the ferrule size to perform a single, firm crimp. After crimping, check that the ferrule is securely attached and that electrical continuity meets the expected resistance values before energising the circuit.
Select a crimping tool matched to the ferrule size to ensure reliable mechanical and electrical contact. Avoid using ferrules on solid conductors or on conductors outside the recommended cross-section range. For installations exposed to vibration or environmental stress, verify crimps periodically and consider additional strain relief measures if required.
