How to use

Attach a protective cap before each measurement and switch the thermometer on. Select the preferred unit (°C or °F) if required. Place the probe gently into the ear canal ensuring contact for infrared measurement, then start the measurement following the device prompts. Wait for the acoustic signal and visual smiley indicator which confirm the measurement result. After use, remove and dispose of the protective cap, store the thermometer in the supplied box and switch it off; the device will also switch off automatically when idle.

Usage recommendations

Use a new protective cap for each person to maintain hygiene. For reliable ear measurements, ensure the ear canal is free of obstructions such as excessive earwax and follow the manufacturer's guidance on correct probe placement.
